Definition of Infertility, IVF Clinic Frisco Tx

Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine provides advanced infertility treatment in Plano, Frisco and surrounding areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The on-site world-class in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratories and reproductive surgery center assures some of the highest success rates. Even though the most advanced technologies are available such as IVF, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), the physicians and scientists at the Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine believe that the treatments should be no more complex or expensive than required for a reasonable likelihood of success.

Infertility can be defined as the inability to achieve pregnancy after one year of unprotected intercourse. Today, one out of seven couples has trouble conceiving. Fertility starts to decline noticeably as early as age 34.

Single Embryo Transfer Incentive Program

Couples with a high likelihood of having twins when pursuing in vitro fertilization should seriously consider transferring a single embryo. The Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine is one of a very few programs in the world that offer single embryo transfer. The chances of conception when transferring a single blastocyst are impressive enough that an incentive program is offered to remove the financial burden of any follow-up frozen-thawed embryo transfer if needed.
