The cost of infertility treatment can be minimized if you consult an infertility specialist early on. The goal is to offer the least invasive, most cost-effective evaluation and treatment to our patients with the highest chance of success, regardless of insurance coverage. Less cost and less technology do not necessarily mean lower success rates. When more advanced technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) are indicated, you are assured of among the best IVF success rates in the world.
When pursuing in vitro fertilization, the cost of medications accounts roughly for one third, the physician services for another third with the balance attributed to the facility and embryology laboratory. Generally, the diagnosis of the infertility problem and specialty procedures such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection, assisted hatching and embryo cryopreservation are not included.
