Normal fallopian tubes are paramount to allow for the successful meeting of the sperm and the egg. A special dye test (hysterosalpingogram) is frequently indicated to confirm that the fallopian tubes are functional and open. The passage of the dye through the tubes is viewed with advanced X-ray equipment. The Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine provides this service conveniently on-site, without the need to schedule this procedure in advance through a hospital radiology department. The C-arm fluoroscope uses very low X-ray doses while providing superior image quality. This allows for the accurate and timely evaluation of the fallopian tubes.
