Insertion of a very small diameter (less than ¼ inch) telescope near the naval allows visualization of the female internal organs of reproduction: uterus (UT), ovaries (OV), fallopian tubes (FT). Impediments to reproductive efficiency such as endometriosis, scar tissue or congenital defects can be discovered and often simultaneously treated. This is a day-surgery procedure performed under general anesthesia.
