Although the Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine has only recently opened its doors to the people of Dallas-Fort Worth and especially to the community of Frisco and surrounding areas, our team has a long history of service to the infertile patients in this community.

Jennifer Mandell
Jennifer Mandell joined the Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine after 6 years of exemplary administrative service and support to infertility patients at the ARTS Program at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. She brings with her not only the experience, but also a passion for the well-being of our patients.

Barbara Reiter Assistant Administrative Coordinator
I joined Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine in January 2011, following a 22 year career in Financial Services. A decision by my previous employer to close all outside offices and base operations out of Illinois, caught me by surprise. However, I have always looked at it as an opportunity to do something different, something I could be really passionate about. At FIRM I am experiencing something new and different! I am part of the Administrative team and I have the privilege of greeting and meeting our patients as well as a variety of other responsibilities. I enjoy getting to know our patients and I love being a part of the process of helping couples in bringing little lives into this world. I have been blessed to have a son, who is the absolute joy and light of my life and it is my heart to see others experience this incredible blessing!

Deanna Shriner R.N.
I have been a nurse since 1992, working in multiple areas in the hospital- med-surg, Cardiothoracic ICU, Cardiac Noninvasive Lab, GI Lab, and the last 4 years in the ARTS Lab in Dallas. I have 3 children- 1 daughter and twin boys, all of which I went through infertility treatments, including IVF with the twins. I love working with infertility patients, and feel like my personal experience with infertility helps my understanding of the many emotional struggles these women face.

Michelle Futrell R.N.
I started my career out as a Licenced Practical Nurse specializing in Medicine/Surgery in 2005. Later I returned to school to become an R.N. I have worked in multiple areas of the hospital including medical/surgical ICU, Cardiothroacic ICU, and Neuro Trauma. I joined Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine in September 2010, and look forward everyday to making the dreams of my patients come true. My husband and I have 3 children, all girls. I am involved daily with the care of our infertility patients during office visits, preparation for diagnostic procedures and for various infertility treatments such as therapeutic inseminations and IVF.

Nicole Roosmalen
Nicole Roosmalen recently joined the Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine as a Medical Assistant. We first met Nicole in the summer of 2009 as she completed her externship prior to graduating the Medical Assistant Program at ATI Career Training Center. Nicole’s energy and enthusiasm contribute to her desire to support the patients.

Lindy Kalifa R.M.A.
I came to Frisco Institute for Reproductive Medicine in the Spring of 2011. Prior to this I worked in Podiatry and Dermatology. I am married with two children, one son and a daughter, and we live in Frisco. Working at FIRM enables me to enjoy a degree of independence as I practice my profession. The patient contact and direct care I give on a daily basis is very rewarding, and being on the cutting edge of this evolving field of medicine ensures that each day brings new and exciting experiences. I feel very privileged to be able to assist couples on their journey through the various fertility treatments and to help each of them cope with challenges they may face.

Heather Carlisle R.N.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1982. I am married and have two sons. At the beginning of my career I worked as a Registered Midwife for 15 years in South Africa before immigrating to the USA in 1999. Initially we lived in Boca Raton, Florida where I worked as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery OR nurse. In 2010 our family relocated to Dallas. I have always had a passion for women’s health, as well as a deep love for working in the O.R. and it has been such a privilege to be able to marry these two aspects of my career. I am passionate about women’s health and feel so blessed to be able to bring my many years of experience and expertise to the Frisco Institute, and to work with this brilliant team of dedicated professionals.

Yimin Qin, Ph.D
I had came to the US in 2006 after obtaining my Biochemistry PHD in china. When the FIRM first opened, I joined in as a medical technician running the reproduction hormone lab. Now I'm working as an andrologist with the goal of becoming an embryologist. I'm married with two sons. Every day I come to work proud and ready knowing that I'm working with a great team to help bring the gift of life to couples who want a real family. I feel that the more I learn, the better I can help to make the patient's dream come true.
